Down East Boys Amish Country Tour

We’re counting the days until vaca time! Steve, Ray, and I are leaving for a special trip hosted by the Down East Boys, a favorite Southern Gospel group. It’s a tour of Amish Country in Lancaster, PA. We’ll visit the Amish farmlands and dine at an Amish farmhouse. Hershey, PA will offer us plenty of chocolate, and we’ll experience live concerts by the Down East Boys and Hyssongs.

We’ve seen Down East Boys in concert every year for the last ten or so. There aren’t that many SG groups who come as far north as Rockford, IL where we attend these concerts. It’s an hour-and-a-half drive to the church where they perform, and it’s worth the trip to enjoy their tight harmonies and excellent repertoire of upbeat and worshipful songs.
